At Num-Ti-Jah Lodge, winter is our favorite season. The
air is quiet, the skies are blue, and the snow is deep
and untouched. Highway 93 is plowed for easy travel to
reach us. The couches around the fireplaces invite you
to linger. Our chef is ready with buffet breakfasts and
three-course dinners. After the evening meal, our guests
relax with a book, a sketch pad, or a deck of cards in
the Library. Our fireplaces are lit. Come, we invite you
to our hearth.
Snowshoeing and Skiing
To appreciate the quiet of mountain life we encourage
our guests to explore on cross-country skis or snowshoes.
You'll probably see white ptarmigans half-hidden in the
snow or the tracks of hares and coyotes in the forest.
If downhill skiing is your passion, Lake Louise is only
half an hour away. For back-country enthusiasts, the trail
to Bow Hut and glacial touring begins here. And for those
who demand untracked snow for telemarking, take your pick
of slopes.
The Christmas Season
A remote lodge in the Canadian Rockies. Roaring fireplaces.
Warm duvet on the bed. Pristine snow. Star-filled skies.
A full moon. Need we say more? Our Christmas rates range
from $ 125 to $ 190 per night based on double occupancy.
