Simpsons Num-Ti-Jah lodge is proud to announce the return of chef Kelly Yarrow for the 2012 season. Kelly joined us at the start of the 2011l season and brought with him a wealth of culinary experience and passion cultivated over twenty years in the industry.
Kelly was born and raised in Toronto, where he got his start in kitchens in 1989. Over the years, he has built a diverse resume working in many different culinary environments from pubs to corporate restaurants before moving onto fine dining at various hotels and resorts.
In 1997, Kelly moved to Banff National Park where he worked for companies like Ski Louise, Sunshine Village Ski resort, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and the Banff Centre for the Performing Arts.
In 2008, Kelly returned home and received his Red Seal and worked as Executive Chef of Walters Falls Inn and Spa, near Georgian Bay and for another two years as Catering Chef at a private school in Toronto.
The lure of the mountains brought Kelly back to Banff National park in May of 2011 where he made himself at home here at Num-Ti-Jah and by all accounts, had a wonderful 2011 season. We look forward to having Kelly again with us this season and hopefully for many to come.
